The State Partnership Program
Miles has accepted an assignment through the State Partnership Program. This program includes 107 partnerships with 116 nations globally, with the Oregon National Guard partnering with Bangladesh + Vietnam since 2008 and 2012 respectively.
Through SPP, the National Guard conducts military-to-military engagements in support of defense security goals, whole-of-society relationships, and broader support within military, government, economic and social spheres (2025).

Family Mission Statement
When Miles and I were preparing for our marriage, our Parish assigned us to write a Family Mission Statement.
We commissioned a copy of it to display at our wedding and it has since hung in the kitchen of our past three homes. We are excited to fill a fourth home with these promises.
